Goodbye forever. They finally took me out of the system piece of shit job. I will suggest no one to ever consider working for a company who discriminates to the ultimate highest. Never thought I’d ever quit my very first job ever. After going through the constant manager changes, customers who cannot read what’s on paper, co workers who I don’t even like, and working on my feet for 5 hours straight with no break, I’m completely done and done with my job. I work in a place that claims to give equal opportunity and is a diverse company. But in order for diversity to even be hired, you must be fit and you must be good looking. Our general manager (manager ontop of everyone else) sad she gives equal hours for everyone. As a model of Hollister, Easton town center Columbus, Ohio.. I get 1 shift per week or no shifts. Comparing it to all the other models I work with, they have 4 to 5 shifts a week. Also with a great amount of things I have to pay, slaving myself for a job that pays only minimum wage isn’t worth it. The more my check is the more the government will take out. 1 shift per week will basically pay for a shift that I have to wear for work. Don’t get me wrong, I did love working there. It use to be fun, Til the constant change started to happen and I have a manager who makes the schedule and doesnt even like me. I have two reasons why still even there, I need the money and my favorite manager. But thinking about how badly the store is slowly becoming a slave house, I will have to say goodbye Hollister and rigorously look for another job that’ll treat their workers better and pay better. As a legal human being, working and getting basically nothing out of it is not how I want to be making a living.
